The best Super Bowl car rental in Los Angeles is a car you keep for the whole week. Super Bowl LXI is on Sunday, February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. The game takes one afternoon. The dinners, hotel arrivals and parties fill the six days before it. Those are the places where people see your car.

For most renters, the choice comes down to four cars. They are the Rolls Royce Cullinan, the Lamborghini Urus, the G-Wagon AMG G63 and the Cadillac Escalade ESV. Each one fits a different kind of week. Game day needs its own plan, because SoFi Stadium runs its parking on strict rules.

What happens during Super Bowl week in Los Angeles

This is the second Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium. The first one there was Super Bowl LVI, five years earlier. The 2027 game also lands 60 years after Super Bowl I. That first game was played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Some of the week is already on the calendar. The host committee and the NFL have set a sports media summit for Friday, February 12. The stadium's own page still lists the kickoff time as to be announced. The game also falls on Valentine's Day this time.

On Friday night, a white Cullinan stops under the canopy at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills. The valet opens the rear door, which is hinged at the back. You step out forward instead of sideways. Two people waiting for their own cars stop talking and watch to see who it is.

Which car fits which night of the week

The Rolls Royce Cullinan is the car for the nights that matter most. It runs a 6.75 liter twin turbo V12. It kneels 40 millimeters when you open the door. The white Cullinan in this post has a purple cabin and a starlight headliner. Its rear bench seats three across, so a couple can bring a friend to dinner without a second car.

The Lamborghini Urus is for the renter who wants to drive the week, not just arrive. It makes 641 horsepower and reaches 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. In Strada mode it stays quiet in Downtown Los Angeles traffic on the way to Crypto.com Arena. Switch it to Sport on an open freeway and the exhaust valves open. The black Urus in this post has an orange leather cabin that shows the second a door opens.

The G-Wagon AMG G63 is the shape people recognize from across a parking lot. Its doors close with a loud mechanical thunk that Mercedes kept on purpose. The black G63 in this post has a black and red cabin and side exit pipes. It makes 577 horsepower and seats five, so it suits a small group headed to a watch party.

The Cadillac Escalade ESV is for the bigger group. It seats seven, and the long ESV body leaves space behind the third row for bags. The 6.2 liter V8 pulls steadily, and Magnetic Ride Control keeps the cabin flat. Chauffeur service is available on request on the Escalade, which matters on a night with drinks.

Game day at SoFi Stadium starts with a parking pass

Every guest who drives to SoFi Stadium must have a parking pass. A driver without one is turned away and sent to offsite options. Passes are color coded to a parking zone. You have to enter through that zone's own gate, or staff will turn you around.

A few more stadium rules change how you plan with a rented car.

  • One parking pass covers one space for one vehicle.
  • Spaces cannot be saved for friends who arrive later.
  • Overnight parking is not permitted.
  • Vehicles may be searched by law enforcement and security, and that can include a canine sweep.
  • Parking bought on event day can cost more than a pass bought ahead.

On Sunday afternoon the Urus waits in the line of cars. The pass is on your phone, and the parking staff wave you toward your zone. Then the car sits in a lot full of other cars for the next several hours. Nobody in a stadium lot looks at your car the way a hotel valet does.

So it often makes sense to leave the car at the hotel on game day. The Metro C and K Lines stop at the LAX/Metro Transit Center. On game days, Metro runs a shuttle from there to the stadium. Taking the shuttle keeps the Cullinan in the hotel garage for the party after the game. Drinking at the game means the ride home needs a chauffeur or a sober driver.

Super Bowl car rental for the full week

A week-long rental costs less per day than a weekend. The discount comes from the length of the rental, and you don't have to ask for it. Here is how the ladder works.

  • 1 to 2 days are at the full daily rate.
  • 3 to 4 days take 10% off.
  • 5 to 6 days take 15% off.
  • 7 to 13 days take 20% off.

These are the rates for the four cars in this post, each from its own listing.

  • Rolls Royce Cullinan, white over purple. $1,495 a day, $2,000 deposit, $5 per extra mile.
  • Lamborghini Urus, black over orange. $995 a day, $1,000 deposit, $5 per extra mile.
  • G-Wagon AMG G63, black over black and red. $695 a day, $1,000 deposit, $3 per extra mile.
  • Cadillac Escalade ESV Sport, black over black. $445 a day, $1,000 deposit, $4 per extra mile.

A Cullinan kept from Monday to Monday is a 7 day rental, so it takes 20% off. Seven days at $1,495 comes to $10,465 before the discount. With 20% off, the rental is $8,372. Delivery is quoted separately by address.

The deposit is a hold on your card, not a charge. It is released after the car comes back in the condition it left. Miles pool across the rental, and each day includes 100 miles. So a 7 day rental has 700 miles to use however you like. If you plan a longer drive, say so at booking so the extra miles are priced ahead of time.

On Saturday morning the Cullinan comes up from the garage at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica. You turn onto Pacific Coast Highway with the windows down. The V12 is almost silent at a cruise. Rear-wheel steering helps the car turn tighter than its size suggests.

Landing at LAX the week of the game

Flying in for the week means LAX is where the trip starts. Rideshare and taxi pickup at LAX happen at a lot called LAX-it, and you can only reach it by shuttle. The round trip of shuttle, wait and driver commonly runs 30 to 45 minutes. A car delivered to your terminal curb skips all of that.

You walk out of baggage claim with your bags. The black Escalade ESV is waiting outside the doors with the rear hatch open. Your group of six climbs in, with two of them in the third row. The people behind you are still in line for the shuttle.

Delivery covers LAX, hotels, homes and venues across Los Angeles and Orange County. Staying in Newport Beach works too. The car can be delivered to the harbor there. A hotel in Culver City puts you close to the studio lots. A hotel in Downtown Los Angeles puts you near the arena. The delivery fee is quoted by address when you book.

The checks before you get the keys

Every renter must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license. You also need full coverage insurance in your own name. A larger deposit may apply if you are under 25. Your policy has to cover a rental car that isn't listed on it. That coverage is called non-owner vehicle coverage. Before the rental, we call your insurance carrier with an agent on a recorded line and confirm it.

Credit card rental coverage almost never applies to these cars. Most card benefits exclude vehicles worth more than $50k to $75k. Anyone else who will drive has to be on the contract before the rental starts and pass the same check. Overnight, the car stays with the hotel valet or in the hotel garage, never on the street. The keys stay with you.

A week or two of notice covers most dates. For Super Bowl week, I'd book as soon as your tickets or your hotel are set. This is the part nobody tells you. The cars that fit a big week are the same cars other visitors want for it.

The Super Bowl is one afternoon in a long week. The game needs a parking pass. The rest of the week needs the right car at the right hotel door.
