How It Drives

How It Photographs
White over black wheels, black flares and a black roof reads graphic, and the cabin sets it apart. In direct sun white blows out, so expose for the body and let the sky go deep blue. In open shade the white holds its edges and the blue leather shows through the vertical glass. After dark white takes whatever light is nearest, neon on Melrose, warm at a hotel door. Take the head-on front, the box with the round lamps. Shoot the blue diamond-quilted door panel with the carbon trim close, the detail nobody expects in a white G. These were taken on a rooftop deck with mountains behind, and a top deck at midday is the shot.
Why This One
We run 11 G-Wagons and this is the only AMG G63 based in Los Angeles. It is also the only one with a blue interior, every other G we have is black, red, white or grey inside. The white G63 in the Inland Empire is $595 a day with a black cabin, so the $895 here buys the yacht blue leather, the carbon, the red calipers and a Los Angeles pickup. The Orange County G63s run $695 to $795. The deposit is $1,000, refundable.
