Trim Breakdown
Cadillac sells the Escalade in six trims across two body lengths, from Luxury up to the supercharged V. We run Sport, Platinum Sport and both long body ESV versions, and chauffeur service is available.
Escalade Luxury and Premium Luxury
The Cadillac Escalade Luxury is the entry trim, with the bright chrome grille and coil spring suspension. Premium Luxury adds leather upholstery, ventilated front seats and a panoramic roof over the same running gear. We run a standard Escalade. Both of these trims float more over a big dip than the cars fitted with Magnetic Ride Control.
Escalade Sport
The Cadillac Escalade Sport carries the equipment level of Premium Luxury with gloss black exterior trim, a dark mesh grille and darker wheels, plus Magnetic Ride Control and an electronic limited slip differential. We run the Sport. Moving up from the base car, the body stays flatter over rough pavement and settles faster after a dip.
Escalade Premium Luxury Platinum and Sport Platinum
The Platinum trims add Air Ride Adaptive Suspension on top of Magnetic Ride, massaging front seats, a 36 speaker audio system, night vision and the full width curved display. We run the Sport Platinum. It is the quietest and most cushioned Escalade on the standard body, and the one finished as an owner's car.
Escalade ESV
The Cadillac Escalade ESV is the long body, 15 inches longer than the standard car, with a third row an adult can use on a real trip and the largest cargo hold behind it. We run the ESV in Sport and Sport Platinum form. This is the version that suits a wedding party or an airport run for six.
Escalade V
The Cadillac Escalade V sits above every other trim, with a supercharged 6.2 liter V8 making 682 hp, all wheel drive as standard, Brembo brakes and a retuned chassis. It is the fastest Escalade Cadillac builds and it sounds nothing like the rest of the range. We do not run the V.
