The Academy hasn't posted the 2027 closures yet, so check its closure notice before you plan a route. If 2027 follows the same pattern, the blocks by the Dolby will be closed most of that week. A 5.76 meter Phantom does not want to be stuck in a detour on a side street in Hollywood. It wants a clean pull up to a hotel entrance and a door opened for you.

This is the part nobody tells you about Oscars weekend. The car matters less on the famous street and more everywhere else. The best frames happen on the quieter blocks, where the Phantom has room to stop and people have a second to look.

Which Oscars exotic car fits the night

The Bentley Flying Spur is the one that works from both seats. It runs a 542 hp twin turbo V8 and does 0 to 60 in 4.0 seconds. Ours is white with a red interior, and that red only shows when a door opens. Parked on Rodeo Drive, between Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevard, it looks like it was built for the block.

Driving yourself or being driven

Decide who is behind the wheel before you pick the car. The Phantom and the Ghost both have chauffeur service available on request. If you want to be driven, ask when you book.

If you're driving, the Ghost and the Flying Spur are the two that reward it. Take the Ghost up Sunset Boulevard through West Hollywood, the Strip's 1.6 miles of valet stands and old music venues. The V12 gathers speed with no rising engine note, and the car feels calm in traffic that isn't.

Oscars weekend usually includes drinks. Our rule is simple. If there is drinking, there is a chauffeur or a sober driver for the ride home. Anyone who will drive has to be on the contract as an additional driver before the rental starts.
