The back seat reclines to 43.5 degrees on a leg rest that extends further than any standard S-Class offers at any specification. It is the only Maybach sedan we run.
Maybach S580e
The Mercedes-Maybach S580e is the plug-in hybrid version, pairing a turbocharged inline six with an electric motor for silent running at city speeds. It was never offered in the United States, so Prometheus Exotics does not run one. The rear compartment, the rear-axle steering and the stretched wheelbase are all identical to those of the S580.
Maybach S680
The Mercedes-Maybach S680 sits above the S580 on a 6.0 liter twelve-cylinder engine, the only V12 the marque still builds. Prometheus Exotics does not run one. A passenger notices almost nothing different from the back seat, since the rear cabin matches the S580 exactly and the twelve-cylinder engine is quieter rather than louder. Both cars share the same stretched body.
Maybach S680 Haute Voiture
Haute Voiture is a limited Mercedes-Maybach S680 edition built around a fashion theme, with a two-tone nautical blue and crystal white paint scheme, tweed-pattern cabin trim and matched luggage. Only 150 were built worldwide. Prometheus Exotics does not run one, and the mechanical package underneath is unchanged from that of a standard Maybach S680.
Maybach Night Series
Night Series is a Mercedes-Maybach appearance package that trades the chrome trim and the two-tone paint for black exterior detailing and dark wheels. Prometheus Exotics does not run a Night Series car. It changes nothing mechanical at all, so the rear compartment and the ride quality match those of any other Maybach S580.
