The Lamborghini that seats five, rides high, and reads as money rather than an attention grab.
The Lamborghini Urus is Lamborghini's SUV and the only Lamborghini we rent that seats five, carries real luggage, and stays quiet in stop-and-go traffic. Renters book it over a Huracan or an Aventador when they want the badge without the theatre, for a client dinner, an airport run, or a whole trip rather than a single arrival photo.
In Strada mode the twin-turbo V8 runs quiet and unbothered by stop-and-go traffic, then delivers a hard mid-range shove with no top-end drama. That makes the Lamborghini Urus the one in our fleet equally capable of an airport run one day and a canyon road the next.
The Lamborghini Urus is booked by renters who want the badge without an audience, since a base or S model reads to a stranger as an expensive SUV rather than a Lamborghini. It suits a client dinner, an airport run, or any booking where five seats and real luggage matter as much as the crest on the grille. An enthusiast who still wants a driver's SUV chooses the Performante for how it turns in and holds a line. A renter who wants the loudest possible presence instead of a discreet arrival asks for the Urus Widebody or the Urus Mansory, since both pull attention back toward the theatre a base Urus is built to avoid.
The Lamborghini Urus range runs from a 641 hp V8 to a 789 hp plug-in hybrid, across five factory versions and a Performante that swaps air springs for steel. We run the Urus, the Urus S and the Urus Performante.
The Lamborghini Urus opened the range with 641 hp from a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8, air suspension, and the tamburo drive selector. We run it. It is quiet in Strada, it carries five adults and real luggage, and two of our cars wear aftermarket wide body work over standard Urus mechanicals underneath.
The Lamborghini Urus S raises output to 657 hp, borrows the Performante's exhaust tune, and keeps the air suspension and the comfort of the base car. We run the S. The mid range pull is stronger and the exhaust is louder in Sport and Corsa, and the front bumper is the only obvious visual change.
The Lamborghini Urus Performante makes the same 657 hp as the S but replaces air suspension with steel springs, adds a titanium exhaust and a quicker shifting gearbox, and sits lower on a wider track. We run the Performante. The ride is firmer, the nose will not lift for a steep driveway, and it turns in harder.
The Lamborghini Urus SE is the plug-in hybrid, combining the twin turbo V8 with an electric motor for 789 hp and a usable electric only range. It brings a redesigned nose, a larger center screen, and a rear biased torque split. We do not run the SE. It is the only Urus that will move without starting the engine.
The Lamborghini Urus SE Performante sits at the top of the range, taking the plug-in hybrid drivetrain beyond the standard SE and adding carbon fiber for the hood, bumpers, wheel arches and spoiler, plus an Akrapovic exhaust and revised suspension. We do not run it. It is the most powerful Urus Lamborghini has built.
