It is the closest a non-Maybach GLS gets to the 600 mechanically, and it still has a bench seat where the Maybach has two motorized recliners.
AMG GLS 63
The Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 is the performance version of this SUV, with a hand-assembled AMG V8, firmer damping and a louder exhaust in place of the Maybach comfort tuning. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is the trim Prometheus Exotics runs, a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 with mild hybrid assistance, a dedicated Maybach drive mode and a 4 seat rear cabin with motorized recline and massage. Its electric staircase lowers from the sill so that passengers step down to the pavement rather than climb out of the car.
Maybach GLS 600 Night Series
Night Series is a limited Mercedes-Maybach appearance package, replacing the chrome brightwork and the two-tone paint with black exterior detailing, dark wheels and a darker cabin palette. Prometheus Exotics does not run a Night Series car. Nothing mechanical changes under it, so a Night Series car drives exactly like any other Maybach GLS 600.
