The Rolls Royce Ghost range covers 3 cars, the standard Ghost, the long wheelbase Ghost Extended and the darkened Ghost Black Badge. Our fleet runs the standard Ghost, the most understated car in the range.
Ghost
The standard Ghost we run makes 563 hp from a twin-turbo V12. The steering is light and the cabin is near silent at idle. A Power Reserve gauge sits where a rev counter would go, there are picnic tables in the seatbacks and no paddle shifters anywhere, and the column shifter sits where another car puts a wiper stalk. Chauffeur service is available.
Ghost Extended
The Ghost Extended adds 170 millimeters to the wheelbase and every millimeter of it goes to rear legroom. Rolls Royce builds it for the owner who is driven rather than driving, and it is the version most often specified with rear theatre screens and the larger cool box. Everything ahead of the rear doors matches the standard car. We do not run one.
Ghost Black Badge
The Ghost Black Badge raises output to 591 hp and 664 lb-ft, finishes the grille, the Spirit of Ecstasy and the window surrounds in dark chrome, and fits composite wheels. The Low mode sharpens the shifts and gives the exhaust a harder edge, and the suspension and steering are retuned to suit. We do not run one, so every Ghost we run is the chrome faced standard car.
