The 5.5 liter flat plane crank V8 revs to 8,600 rpm and makes 670 horsepower without a single turbocharger, which is why it sounds closer to a Ferrari 458 than to anything else built in America. Zero to 60 in 2.6 seconds puts it ahead of supercars costing three times as much.
