With the roof down the engine sits directly behind an open cabin, so the sound arrives without passing through glass. Ferrari stiffened the chassis to compensate for the missing roof, and on Ortega Highway you will not find the difference.

Ferrari added chassis stiffening to compensate for the open roof, which is not something you can see, only feel.
