Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge Series II Rental in Los Angeles
The black Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge Series II with the turquoise and black interior is based in Los Angeles. Black chrome outside, 592 hp, red calipers, and a cabin the colour of a pool. It is the Cullinan for the video shoot, the night on the Strip, the arrival where the car is part of the cast. We bring it to you anywhere in Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire. Chauffeur service available on request.
How It Drives
Press the Low button on the column stalk first. On a Black Badge that is less a sport mode than a change of mood. Shifts sharpen and the 6.75L twin-turbo V12 is allowed to be heard, a low burble under load where the standard car gives you nothing. Leave it off and the car is as serene as any Rolls. The brake pedal is the other tell. It bites higher and travels shorter than a standard Cullinan, so your first 3 stops will be abrupt until your foot learns it. Then it is a 592 hp SUV that moves like weight gathering rather than speed. Run the Sunset Strip from Doheny to Laurel Canyon after 10pm with Low on. The valet lines outside the hotels are the audience.
How It Photographs
Black over turquoise is the highest contrast pairing we run on a Cullinan, so the photos should be about the reveal. Shoot it closed first. Black paint in direct sun turns to mirror and picks up palms and storefront glass, so find the clean reflection. Then open the rear coach door and let the turquoise spill out. In open shade the black goes soft and the lit grille and vertical light bars carry the front. After dark the grille glows, the starlight comes on and the treadplates read Cullinan at the sill. Close detail is the two-tone wheel with the red caliper behind it. These were shot on Rodeo Drive, curbside under the palms. Go back there.
Why This One
We run 4 Black Badge Cullinans and this is the only Series II among them, and the only one with a blue interior. The others, in Orange County, San Diego and Palm Springs, are orange inside. It is also the only black Cullinan in Los Angeles. Our 2 white Cullinans here are wedding cars. This is the video car, at $1,995 a day with a $5,000 deposit and 50 miles. If you want dark chrome and a lit grille in the same frame, no other Cullinan we run has both.
What's On This One
Black Badge Series II is the top Cullinan. Black Badge brings 592 hp and more torque from the same 6.75L twin-turbo V12, black chrome on the grille, a darkened Spirit of Ecstasy, black window surrounds, carbon fibre trim inside and a louder exhaust in Low. Series II adds the new front end with vertical light bars, the illuminated grille, the glass dash panel and 23-inch wheels. This car is black over turquoise leather with black on the dash and carpets. The photos show the black and silver two-tone wheels with red calipers, the starlight headliner, rear seat screens, illuminated Cullinan treadplates, lambswool mats and the powered split tailgate. 5 seats, 4 coach doors, 50 miles a day included.
