Three rows and four wheel drive in the long wheelbase body make this the most capable of our two black ESV Sport trucks. The third row folds flat into the floor, so cargo space goes from useful to enormous with one motion, and Magnetic Ride Control is standard, reading the road constantly. Power comes from the same 6.2 liter V8 at 420 horsepower for a 6.0 second run to sixty. On the mapped stretch of the 405 toward Los Angeles, Super Cruise is standard on this truck, letting you take your hands off the wheel while a green light bar on the rim confirms it, which the other ESV Sport in our fleet cannot offer.
How It Photographs
Black over black in the extended body with the newer dash is the largest, most current looking silhouette in our fleet, and the illuminated crest and backlit grille surround give it a detail the other black Escalades do not have. Length is still the story, so shoot the side profile long and low outside an office in Irvine or a hotel forecourt near Fashion Island. As with every dark Escalade, controlled light is the requirement, and after dark the lit crest and the vertical lighting are the details that read. It is not a truck people photograph for its own sake, which is the right outcome for something booked to move people discreetly.

Two Escalade ESV Sport trucks live in our fleet, both black, and this is the four wheel drive one with the newer wide screen dash, the column shifter and standard Super Cruise.
