How It Drives
Three electric motors fill in every gap before the twin turbo V8's turbos spool, so there is no lag anywhere in the delivery, only a wall of torque that keeps building. Sixty comes in 2.5 seconds and the all wheel drive puts it down without drama, which nothing else in our Ferrari fleet can claim. The car can also leave a stop in near silence on electric power alone, up to about 84 mph, before the engine cuts in. On Mulholland Drive, take a corner in a higher gear than you think you need and let the electric motors fill the space, then find a straight and use everything at once.

Red on red is the loudest spec we offer on any Ferrari, and on the SF90 it reads as the Scuderia connection this car is named for rather than the default supercar red. There is no restraint in this colour combination and the car is not built to have any. The cabin is a dark, cockpit like space rather than a showroom one, so a doors open shot works best with the interior lights on to pull detail out of the red trim.

The F8 and 296 are lighter and, by most accounts, more entertaining to drive slowly. The SF90 is not about slowly.
