How Much Does It Cost to Rent a Cadillac?

Two black Escalades can stop at the same hotel entrance in Beverly Hills and rent for $600 apart. The $295 Escalade Sport pulls in almost silent. The $895 Escalade-V starts with a loud burst from its supercharged V8. So what it costs to rent a Cadillac runs from $295 to $895 a day before delivery.
The price climbs with three things. Those are the engine, the length of the body and the screen across the dash. The badge on the grille stays the same the whole way up.
Cadillac rental prices by trim
Each Cadillac below is an Escalade with seven seats across three rows. Here are the daily rates as each listing shows them, cheapest first.
- 2022 Escalade Sport, black over black, $295 a day
- 2023 Escalade, black over black with the chrome grille, $395 a day
- 2022 Escalade ESV Sport, black over black, $445 a day
- 2023 Escalade Sport Platinum, black over black with dark wood, $495 a day
- 2022 Escalade ESV Sport Platinum, white over black, $495 a day
- 2026 Escalade ESV Sport, black over black, $495 a day
- 2025 Escalade Platinum Sport, black over black, $595 a day
- 2025 Escalade-V, black over ivory white, $895 a day
Most of the list sits between $295 and $595. Every truck in that band uses a 6.2 liter V8 with 420 horsepower. The Escalade-V sits $300 above the next rate, and its engine is the reason.
Most of these trucks look alike at a valet stand. The valet sees black paint, a tall grille and 22 inch wheels. The difference shows up after you climb in and shut the door.
The cheapest Cadillac rental is the $295 Escalade Sport
The Escalade Sport is the standard length body with the blacked out trim. Sport means the grille, the badges and the window surrounds are gloss black instead of chrome. This one also has four wheel drive and Magnetic Ride Control. That is a suspension that adjusts to the road many times a second to keep the body flat.
Nothing was taken out of the truck to reach $295. It makes 460 lb-ft of torque, the same as the Platinum trims above it. It reaches 60 mph in 6.0 seconds.
Picture seven people walking out of John Wayne Airport with a bag each. The Sport takes all seven, and the light bags fit behind the third row. You merge onto the freeway with the same V8 rumble as a truck that costs twice as much.
The $395 Escalade is the one with the bright chrome grille. It rides on coil springs instead of Magnetic Ride. It rides softer than the Sport over a sharp dip. It also bills only $2 a mile past the allowance.
Where the $495 Escalades differ
The $495 rate buys a different truck depending on the listing. The 2023 Escalade Sport Platinum is the standard length truck from Los Angeles. It has a 38 inch curved screen and dual 12.6 inch screens for the second row. The doors close themselves softly. The front seats massage, and the sound system runs 36 speakers, with some built into the headrests.
The white ESV Sport Platinum is the long body in the same top trim. ESV is Cadillac's name for the long wheelbase Escalade. It sends its power to the rear wheels and reaches 60 mph in 5.9 seconds.
The 2026 ESV Sport has the 55 inch screen that runs from pillar to pillar. It also has Super Cruise, which lets you take your hands off the wheel on mapped freeway. Its third row folds flat into the floor.
Picture the LAX curb at night with a group that just landed. The white Platinum is the one people photograph before they get in. The 2026 ESV Sport holds a film crew's cases with the third row folded. The Sport Platinum is the one where the back row watches a movie on the way to the hotel.
The $595 Platinum Sport adds power doors and a crest on the grille that lights up. It also gets the 55 inch screen on the shorter body. It is the easiest of the top trims to park in a hotel garage.
Why the Escalade-V costs $895 a day
The Escalade-V uses a different engine from the other trims. Its 6.2 liter V8 is supercharged and makes 682 horsepower. Torque rises to 653 lb-ft, and the truck reaches 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. The 420 horsepower trucks take about 6 seconds.
The V also gets Brembo brakes with red calipers and 24 inch gloss black wheels. Four exhaust tips sit at the back, and the exhaust valves open in the louder drive mode. Inside, ivory white leather covers all three rows. The second row has two captain's chairs with their own screens.
The body is the long ESV, nearly 227 inches from end to end. Pull away from a restaurant in Newport Beach with the exhaust open, and people at the valet stand turn toward the sound. Switch to the quiet mode on the freeway, and it rides like the softer Escalades. Top speed is 125 mph, against 116 for most of the others.
So the extra $300 a day pays for speed and sound. If your group only needs seats and quiet, the cabin upgrades stop at $595.
How much does it cost to rent a Cadillac for a week
One or two days are at the full daily rate. From day three, the discount applies on its own. It comes from the length of the rental, not from asking.
- 3 to 4 days, 10% off
- 5 to 6 days, 15% off
- 7 to 13 days, 20% off
- 14 to 20 days, 30% off
- 21 to 27 days, 40% off
- 28 days or more, 50% off
Here is what that does to a few Cadillac totals.
- Escalade Sport for 3 days, $796.50
- Escalade-V for Saturday and Sunday, $1,790
- Escalade-V for 7 days, $5,012, which is $716 a day
- 2023 Escalade for 14 days, $3,871, which is $276.50 a day
A week changes how the truck gets used. The Escalade-V waits in the hotel garage with the keys in your pocket. Each night it takes the whole group to dinner, and each morning it takes them back to work.
Cadillac deposits and mile rates
The security deposit is a hold on your card, not a charge. It is released once the truck comes back in the condition it left. The 2026 ESV Sport holds $1,500. The other Escalades on the list hold $1,000. The deposit may be larger if you're under 25.
Every rental day includes 100 miles, and the miles pool across the rental. A three day rental gives you 300 miles to use however you like. Past that, each truck bills at its own rate.
- $2 a mile on the 2023 Escalade and the Platinum Sport
- $3 a mile on the Escalade Sport, the Sport Platinum and the Escalade-V
- $4 a mile on the ESV Sport and the ESV Sport Platinum trucks
The Escalade-V has the long body but bills only $3 a mile. Take it on a weekend loop with 40 extra miles, and the overage comes to $120. If you know the trip runs long, tell us at booking so the miles are priced in ahead of time.
The $445 ESV Sport is based in Palm Springs. Pick it up at Palm Springs Airport, and a two day rental gives you 200 miles for a desert weekend.
Insurance is not part of any rate, and we don't sell it. Your own policy has to extend to a rental car that isn't on it. That is called non-owner vehicle coverage. We confirm it with your carrier on a recorded line before you get the keys. Delivery is quoted by your address.
A Cadillac or another three row SUV
The BMW X7 is the seven seat choice outside Cadillac. It seats seven and rents for $495 a day from San Diego. It rides on air springs at both axles and reaches 60 mph in 5.6 seconds. Its deposit is $2,500, and extra miles cost $5 each.
The X7 suits a family week in Coronado. It stays parked at the hotel between beach days.
The Range Rover Sport rents for $395 a day in black over black. It seats five and makes 355 horsepower. It costs the same as the chrome grille Escalade and gives up two seats.
The Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS 600 starts at $795 a day in grey. It seats four, and the two rear seats recline. For $100 more, the Escalade-V carries three more people and adds 132 horsepower.
Below $600, a Cadillac rental price changes with the cabin, because the engine stays the same. At $895, the price changes with the engine. Decide how much your group cares about the sound of the truck, and you have your rate.
