How Much Does It Cost to Rent an Exotic Car in Orange County?

Renting an exotic car in Orange County costs anywhere from $395 a day to $3,995 a day. The car decides the price. A Porsche 911 Carrera on our site is $395. A Lamborghini Huracan is around $1,195 to $1,395. A Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is $3,995. Most people land somewhere between $500 and $1,300 a day.

Those are real numbers from our fleet, not a range we made up to get you to call. Every car on the site shows its daily rate, its deposit, and its mileage allowance. I'd rather you know the price before you inquire than find out after.

What decides the price

The biggest factor is the car itself, and more specifically what it costs to replace. A car with a $300k MSRP costs more to insure, more to maintain, and more to fix when something goes wrong. The rate follows that risk.

After the car, the next factor is how long you keep it. Weekend days cost more than weekdays because that's when everyone wants a car. Longer rentals cost less per day because the car isn't sitting between clients. Holidays and event weekends run higher, and that's true at every company in this industry.

What our fleet actually costs

The entry level is $395 to $695 a day. That's the Porsche 911 Carrera, the BMW M3 Competition and M4 Competition at $495, the Corvette C8 Z06 at $545 to $595, and the Cadillac Escalade from $295 to $595. These are the best value in the fleet. They're quick, they look the part, and the deposit is usually $1,000.

The middle tier is $795 to $1,295. That's where the Mercedes AMG G63 lives at $595 to $795, the Bentley Continental GTC at $595 to $795, the Lamborghini Urus at $995 to $1,195, and the Maybach GLS 600 at $795 to $1,195. This is the tier most people picture when they say exotic.

The supercar tier is $1,195 to $1,795. The Lamborghini Huracan runs $1,195 to $1,395 depending on the year and body style. The McLaren 720S is $1,195 to $1,295. The Ferrari F8 Tributo is $1,595. The Rolls Royce Cullinan is $1,495 to $1,595. The Ferrari 812 Superfast is $1,795.

The top of the fleet is the Lamborghini Aventador SV at $2,495 and the Aventador SVJ at $3,995. Those carry a $5,000 deposit and a $10 per mile charge over the allowance, because a mistake in one of those cars is a very expensive mistake.

What's not in the daily rate

Three things sit outside the daily rate, and you should know all three before you book.

The security deposit is a hold on your card, usually $1,000 to $2,000 and up to $5,000 on the Aventadors. It comes back after the car does, as long as the car comes back the way it left.

Mileage is 100 miles a day on every car in the fleet. Go over and you pay per mile, anywhere from $2 a mile on an Escalade to $10 a mile on an Aventador. If you're planning a Palm Springs run or a Vegas trip, tell us up front and we'll price the miles into the deal instead of surprising you at the end.

Delivery inside our normal service area is included. Farther out there's a delivery fee, and we'll tell you the number before you pay anything.

How to pay less

Rent on a weekday. Tuesday through Thursday is when cars sit, and a car that's sitting is a car we'd rather have out. Rent for 3 days or more and the daily rate comes down. And ask what's available last minute. We frequently have a car come back early, and a car that would otherwise sit for 2 days is a car we'll deal on.

The cheapest way into an exotic isn't a discount, it's picking the right car. A $495 BMW M3 Competition for a Tuesday canyon drive is a better day than a Huracan you had to stretch for and were afraid to drive.
