How Much Does It Cost to Rent a Lamborghini, From the Urus to the Revuelto

The valet at the stand in Beverly Hills doesn't look at the driver first, he looks at the doors. If they swing up, the whole line turns. So the real answer to how much does it cost to rent a Lamborghini depends on which doors you want. We run 27 Lamborghinis across Southern California. The daily rate runs from $995 for a Urus to $3,995 for an Aventador SVJ. Most clients land on a Huracan at $1,195 to $1,395 a day. Under that rate sits a deposit hold of $1,000 to $5,000. You get 100 miles a day, and a discount kicks in on day 3.

The Urus is the cheapest Lamborghini rental at $995 a day

The Urus is the least expensive Lamborghini we run. Five of our Urus start at $995 a day. The Urus S and the Widebody cars run $1,095 to $1,195. The Urus Performante is $1,295 to $1,495, and the Mansory car is $1,495. It's the only Lamborghini in the fleet that seats five and carries real luggage.

That matters more than people expect. You can pull up to the curb at LAX and load two suitcases. Then you drive four friends to dinner in Newport Beach in one car. In Strada mode the twin-turbo V8 stays quiet in traffic, then it shoves hard when the road opens up. The Urus reads as money rather than a show. That's why it gets booked for client dinners and airport runs more than for a single photo.

The Huracan, the Lamborghini most people actually rent

A Huracan coupe or Spyder is $1,195 a day. The Huracan Evo and the Evo Spyder are $1,295, and the Performante is $1,395. That is the band where most first-time clients end up. It's the Lamborghini most people have actually seen in person. Deposits on our Huracans are $1,000 or $2,000 depending on the car. Extra miles run $3 to $5.

The car is civil in Strada, so you can idle past the restaurants on the Newport Beach peninsula without a scene. Switch to Corsa on an empty stretch of Coast Highway. The V10 loses its muffling on the way to 8,500 rpm. On the Spyder the fabric roof folds in 17 seconds. That's about the time a light takes to change on Pacific Coast Highway. If you want the sound and the badge without a crowd forming, this is the one.

The Aventador, the Temerario, and the Revuelto

Above the Huracan the price roughly doubles. The Aventador SV is $2,495 a day. The Temerario is $2,995. The Revuelto is $3,495, and the Aventador SVJ Coupe and SVJ Roadster are $3,995. All five carry a $10 a mile overage rate. The deposit is $3,000 on the Temerario and $5,000 on the rest.

You're paying for the arrival, and each one arrives differently. The Aventador is the last old-school Lamborghini V12 with scissor doors. Its single-clutch gearbox punches on every upshift. It's loud from the moment you leave the valet in Beverly Hills. It's built to be seen stepping out of first and driven second. The Revuelto does the opposite. It pulls away from the stand in total silence on electric power. Then the 1,001 hp V12 wakes up behind your head. Most people on the sidewalk haven't seen its shape yet, so the crowd gathers fast.

The Temerario replaced the Huracan in Lamborghini's lineup, and it's the newest car on our site. Its twin-turbo hybrid V8 revs to 10,000 rpm, the highest redline in our fleet. It also rides softer than any Huracan. So it suits a taller driver and a full day in the seat instead of one photo. I'd still put a first-timer in a Huracan. The Temerario is for someone who already knows what a V10 feels like at the top of the tach.

The deposit and the miles on a Lamborghini rental

The deposit is a hold on your card, not a charge. It's released after the car comes back the way it left. On our Lamborghinis the hold is one of four figures.

• Aventador SV, Aventador SVJ, and Revuelto, $5,000

Every car includes 100 miles a day, and a multi-day rental pools them. A 3 day Huracan rental gives you 300 miles to spend however you like. Extra miles are billed at the car's own rate. That's $3 a mile on some Urus and Huracan cars, and $10 a mile on the V12s and the Temerario. If you know the trip runs long, say so at booking. We price the miles in ahead of time instead of billing them after.

Think about the miles before you pick the car. The run from LAX up the coast to Malibu and back is well under the daily allowance. So is a night out in Beverly Hills. A weekend that goes out to the desert is not. On a Revuelto those extra miles add up fast at $10 each. The car that sounds best at the valet stand is often the one that costs the most per mile past the allowance.

How much does it cost to rent a Lamborghini for more than a day

Longer rentals get cheaper per day, and the discount is automatic. Days 1 and 2 are at the full rate. Days 3 to 4 take 10% off, and 5 to 6 take 15%. Days 7 to 13 take 20%, and 14 to 20 take 30%. Days 21 to 27 take 40%, and 28 days or more take 50%. Nobody has to ask for it, the length of the booking sets it.

So a Huracan Evo at $1,295 comes to $2,590 for a weekend and about $3,500 for 3 days. A full week is $7,252, which works out to about $1,036 a day. A Revuelto for 2 days is $6,990, and the same car for a week is $19,572. The week costs more in total. You get the car for seven mornings instead of two. By the third morning you stop flinching when the V12 fires up in a parking structure in Newport Beach. That's when the car starts to feel like yours.

Insurance, delivery, and what the rate leaves out

Insurance isn't in the daily rate and we don't sell it. Your own auto policy has to carry full coverage that extends to a rental car that isn't on your policy. It can't have an exotic or high-value exclusion, or a cap that rules the car out. Before every rental we call your carrier with an agent on a recorded line and confirm it. Credit card rental coverage almost never applies. Most card benefits exclude cars worth more than $50k to $75k.

Delivery is quoted by address. We deliver across Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, the Inland Empire, and Palm Springs. That includes hotels, homes, venues, rooftops, and the airport curb. The part nobody tells you is that the insurance call decides the rental, not the price. A client who can afford the Revuelto but carries a policy with a $75k cap ends up in a Huracan. Sometimes he doesn't rent at all. So make that call to your carrier before you fall in love with a set of scissor doors.

Pick the car by the arrival you want. Then check the miles and the insurance before you look at the rate. The Urus at $995 gets you the badge and four seats. The Huracan at $1,195 gets you the sound, and the V12s at $2,495 and up get you the crowd. The daily rate is the easiest number on this page, and it's the last one that should decide.
