The canyon roads behind the coast, Latigo, Encinal, Stunt and Tuna Canyon, are real driving roads with real turnouts. Latigo has a pullout 1.4 miles up from PCH that photographers use. Encinal opens to a summit overlook toward Point Dume. Decker Canyon is the one to skip, because the Highway Patrol is actively watching it for speeding and has added rumble strips to make the point.
